Framing – MC5100 Aluminum Mounting Extrusions

$37.66 - $53.62

Our 10′ long MC5100 aluminum extrusions were engineered to provide a high performance mounting system for surface mounted (exposed fastener)  Equitone, Trespa Meteon and other rainscreen sheet cladding products.

So what is the difference between perforated and non-perforated? The difference is that perforated should be used where a horizontally installed extrusion is more appropriate. Perforated should be used where a solid substrate (CMU block or concrete) or horizontally installed sub-girts exist in a deep cavity system. The perforated and non-perforated can be used in combination with each other to achieve maximum airflow and economy.

“H” and “J” section for all mounting conditions.

  • 10’0″ lengths
  • perforated for unlimited thermal air movement through horizontal conditions
  • non-perforated for maximum cost savings in vertical applications
  • Exposed sides are painted black
  • Aluminum alloy 6005AT61 for excellent strength and corrosion resistance

*Fastener locations, type and number of fasteners should always be determined by a qualified professional/structural engineer.
