Reynobond® Colorweld® 500 ACM Products
Wrap your imagination around the benefits and versatility of Reynobond Reynobond® aluminum composite material (ACM) panels consist of an extruded thermoplastic compound core that’s fusion bonded between two sheets of coil-coated aluminum, brushed aluminum, zinc, stainless steel or copper material. The result is a highly corrosion-resistant, rigid-yet-flexible material that weighs 3.4 times less than steel and 1.6 times less than pure aluminum.
Reynobond composite material is exceptionally flat, daringly formable, surprisingly light and distinctively colorful. It integrates easily with the curtain wall, creating a seamless look for façades. And its extreme formability makes it ideal for curves and unique design accents.
ACM panels are protected and colored with enhanced, high-performance Colorweld® 500 and Colorweld 500XL coatings, allowing for color matching between products. These paint finishes feature 70% Kynar 500®/ Hylar 5000® polyvinylidene flouride (PVDF) resins with Flouropolymer technology, coil coated to ensure the highest color uniformity and quality. They provide excellent flexibility and film adhesion for forming and offer superior resistance to humidity, impact, salt spray, pollution and abrasion. With a 30-year finish warranty, Colorweld 500 coatings exhibit outstanding color and gloss retention and improved hardness and durability. They are considered the premier architectural coatings for metal.
