Manufactured from C1022 low carbon steel with a core hardness of HV240-425, it features Dagger-Guard Coating™, a three-layer dip, spin, and bake coating system that provides 1,000-hour salt spray corrosion resistance.

The sharp point provides efficient penetration in light metal applications, while the unslotted hex washer head provides positive drive engagement and a broad bearing surface. Serrations beneath the head help resist loosening after installation, and the Bronze Dagger-Guard™ finish provides a color-matched appearance for compatible exterior applications.
