Description
- The S-5-NH 1.5 clamp is designed for 1-1/2″ nail strip profiles with a wider horizontal dimension. It is typically used with profiles that have a width greater than 0.475″ (12mm) and less than or equal to 0.800″ (20.32mm).
- The S-5-NH 1.5 clamp is often used in conjunction with S-5! ColorGard snow retention systems and other heavy-duty applications.
- Its innovative insert features a “hinge” design with a toe that engages the female portion of the panel, allowing it to conform to the shape of the seam. This design helps prevent damage at the point of attachment while providing optimal holding strength.
- The clamp’s hinge insert is reversible, which means it can fit properly on both wide and medium-width profiles.
- The T-30 Torx setscrews on the clamp are angled upward, making it easier to insert the tool during installation.
