The S-5-S (“S” stands for snap-lock) is a non-penetrating, standing seam metal roof (SSMR) clamp. The S is designed for most popular vertical snap-together profiles -- typically with vertical dimensions of 1.5” (38 mm) and 1.75” (44 mm).

The S is also the perfect solution for traditional, single-fold (angle-seam) horizontal profiles of 1” (25 mm) and 1.5” (38 mm) seam height dimensions and all similar seam types.

Minis Available

The S Mini clamp is a more economical solution for lighter duty attachments where Herculean holding strength is not required.

All standard and Mini clamps undergo rigorous load testing. Negative load normal-to-seam testing (pull-up) is performed on all Mini clamps, and parallel-to-seam testing (drag load) is performed on all standard clamps.

Choose the S (or its Mini) to mount walkways, snow guards, solar panels and other mechanical equipment to snap-lock and some single-fold metal roof profiles. Although the S-5-U will work on these profiles, the S is a better fit and lower-cost solution.
