Its bi-metal construction combines corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel with a hardened carbon steel drill point, delivering the drilling performance needed for demanding structural connections while maintaining long-term exterior durability.

The SD2 self-drilling point eliminates pre-drilling in many metal applications, helping reduce installation time while maintaining reliable holding strength. Silver VistaCoat® provides an additional barrier that helps reduce galvanic corrosion when the fastener is used with aluminum, while the fastener’s high ductility helps reduce the risk of delayed embrittlement failures.
