Its bi-metal construction combines corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel with a hardened carbon steel drill point, delivering exceptional drilling performance while maintaining long-term corrosion resistance.

The SD5 self-drilling point eliminates pre-drilling in many heavy-gauge metal applications, helping reduce installation time while maintaining outstanding holding strength. Silver VistaCoat® provides an additional barrier that helps reduce galvanic corrosion when the fastener is used with aluminum, while the fastener's high ductility helps reduce the risk of delayed embrittlement failures. The low-profile pancake head offers a broad bearing surface and a clean installed appearance for framing and attachment applications.
