The SFS FS3-14 Flex5® is a premium self-drilling screw engineered for light- and medium-gauge metal connections where high clamp load, exceptional ductility, and long-term corrosion protection are required. Manufactured from alloy steel and selectively heat treated, the load-bearing portion of the fastener meets Grade 5 specifications while the drill point and lead-in threads are hardened for fast, efficient drilling performance.

The SD3 self-drilling point eliminates pre-drilling in many metal applications, helping reduce installation time while maintaining outstanding holding strength. The proprietary VistaCorr™ coating provides up to 1,000 hours of corrosion resistance while improving installation performance and finished appearance. Flex5® technology delivers low driving torque, reduced thread engagement torque, and increased ductility to help resist hydrogen embrittlement while maximizing clamp load.
