An important component in any ColorGard 2.0 snow retention systems, the SnoClip 2.0 is designed to prevent ice that forms on the metal panel’s surface from sliding under the ColorGard 2.0 assembly. Usually only required on the bottom row of ColorGard 2.0, the SnoClip features a rubber foot that prevents scratching or damage to the roof panels surface. The SnoClip 2.0 was designed to be inserted onto the ColorGard 2.0 crossmember. One (1) SnoClip 2.0 is recommended per roof panel. SnoClip II 2.0 fits roof panels with rib (seam) heights between 1″ and 2″. It may also be used on 2″ vertical seamed panels, but not on 2″ horizontally seamed panels. IMPORTANT: While most applications will require a single row of snow retention with an S-5!® clamp on every panel seam, we always recommend you contact us with your project information and allow to us to perform the calculations necessary to ensure a permanent snow retention system.
