Description
The WUKO 1004951 Sheet Metal Hammer is a professional hand tool designed for bending, shaping, forming, and adjusting sheet metal components. Featuring a traditional German-pattern head with a flat striking face and cross-peen end, this versatile hammer provides controlled striking performance for metal roofing contractors, sheet metal fabricators, and architectural metalworking professionals.
The WUKO 1004951 features a forged alloy steel hammer head that is carefully hardened and tempered for durability during repeated metalworking operations. Its ground striking face and cross-peen end feature chamfered edges, providing two working surfaces for different forming applications. The flat face is useful for general striking and shaping, while the narrower cross-peen allows more concentrated force along folds, edges, and detailed sheet metal profiles.
The hammer head is protected by a black, corrosion-resistant powder coating and securely attached to a double-curved hickory wood handle using PICARD's patented SecuTec® wedge bolt system. This specialized connection helps maintain a secure fit between the head and handle, while the curved handle provides comfortable handling and control during repetitive striking operations.
Designed for professional roofing, flashing fabrication, gutter work, and custom sheet metal applications, the WUKO 1004951 combines traditional metalworking hammer geometry with modern handle attachment technology for reliable performance in the workshop or on the jobsite.
