Its bi-metal construction combines a corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel head and body with a hardened carbon steel drill point, providing increased drilling capacity without sacrificing exterior durability.

The SD2 self-drilling point eliminates pre-drilling in many metal applications, helping reduce installation time while maintaining reliable holding strength. A low-profile hex washer head provides secure tool engagement and a compact installed appearance. Silver VistaCoat® creates an additional barrier that helps reduce galvanic corrosion when the fastener is used with aluminum, while the fastener’s high ductility helps reduce the risk of delayed embrittlement failure.
